The death occurred peacefully, and with her family by her side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, of Claudette Mary (nee Gallant) Arsenault at the age of 63 years from Wellington. Claudette was born in St. Gilbert on April 10, 1952, daughter of Evangeline and the late Anthony Gallant. She leaves to mourn her loving son Yvon (Krista) Arsenault and grandchildren Jaxen and Mila. She will be forever remembered by her brother Roger (Shirley) Gallant. Claudette is survived by aunts, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Wednesday, March 2, then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Claudette’s memory to the Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
