Passed peacefully away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Tiffany Village, age 95 years. Predeceased by his wife Joan (Maddick). Leaving to mourn, daughters: Sally Rose (John), St. John's and Brenda Fudge (Gary), Ottawa; three grandchildren: Chris Rose (Jennifer) St. John's, Jason Rose (Geneviève), Ottawa and Vicki Rose (Dion), Corner Brook; three great-grandchildren: Lélia, Evan and Bryden; brother Derek (Grace), St. John's; sister-in-law, Ruth Goff, St. John's; as well as other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, March 10th from 12-1:30 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. at the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
