It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joyce Shirley Keating nee Howell announce her passing at the Corner Brook, Long Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, February 29th, 2016, at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Ralph Keating (Heather) of Orangeville, Ont, Micheal Keating of Springdale, NL, Donald Keating of Deer Lake, NL, Brendan (Cathie) Keating of Brampton, Ont, Graham Keating of Brampton, Ont, Jamie Keating (Tina) of Orangeville, Ont, Darilyn (Winston) Pinksen of Deer Lake, NL, Clara (James) Mcintosh of Georgetown, Ont, Joyce (Raymond) Rogers, & Carolyn Keating both of Deer Lake, NL, her sister; Norma Slade of Georgetown, Ont, her 15 grandchildren, & 31 great grandchildren, mother was predeceased by her husband; Thomas William Keating, her son; Daniel (Danny) Keating, her loving companion; Lewis Samms, her sisters; Jeanette Stalkey, & Edith Warford, & brother; Herbert Howell. In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place & the family will be receiving family & friends from Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 pm. Follow by a private family service. Burial to follow at a later date.
