Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of Bernice Woodford at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the age of 72, with her daughters at her side. Predeceased by her husband Edward (Ted) 1988, parents Thomas and Bridget Brophy, sister Lillian Howard, brother Robert Brophy, parents-in-law Kathleen and Cyril Woodford. Left to mourn her loss, and to cherish a lifetime of memories, are her daughters Therese Woodford (Glenn Pickford), Bernice Woodford (Mark Coleman), her precious grandson, whom she loved with all her heart, Alex Coleman, and her canine companion Darwin. Also mourning her loss are her brothers and sisters Marie Adams, John Brophy (Mary), Ann King, Tom, Leonard, Helen and George Brophy. Also mourning her loss and remembering her with love are a large circle of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the very caring and professional staff at St. Clare's for their exemplary care and compassion throughout her numerous visits over the last several years. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 4th 2016 at 10:30 am from SS Peter & Paul Church, Hr. Main. Inurnment to follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Hr. Main.
