BRUSSARD, Thomas Clement ‘Clem’ – 74 of Pictou passed away at home on February 28, 2016. Born in Antigonish on May 4, 1941.
He was a son of the late Tom & Isabelle (DeYoung) Broussard.
He leaves behind his loving partner of 40 years, Deborah Cruise; his children, Maureena, Timberlea; Robert (Tammy) Bedford; Paul, Eastern Passage; stepdaughter Jo-Ann (John) Keddy, Tantallion. Clem is also survived by grandchildren, Mitchell, Joel, Blake, and Ashton Brussard; Jenna Keddy; sister, Elaine MacNeil; brother, Jerome (Barb), Pomquet.
He was predeceased by a brother-in-law Murray MacNeil.
Clem was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 1392 for 28 years. 
He had several country bands during the 70’s and 80’s and was always content as long as he was building something or picking his guitar and singing a song. 
He and Deb, shared a love for bluegrass and country music. They loved to hitch up the trailer and attend the festivals. When heart disease put limitations on his activities, they spent as much time as possible at their cottage in Pomquet.
Clem has left many wonderful memories in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. As Clem requested, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of McLaren Funeral Service, Pictou.
