It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. William Blair Wilton announce his sudden passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Monday, February 29th, 2016, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Irene (Nee Simmonds) of 56 years marriage, his children Marie (Eunice) of Trout River, Rick (Linda), and Glenda both of Woody Pt. and Jeffery (Helen) of Nova Scotia, his sister Rhoda of Deer Lake, his grandchildren Stacey (Michelle), Paula (Gary), Pauline (Malcom), Blair (Lacey), Stephanie (Glen) and Jeffrey, six step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 17 step-great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends. William was predeceased by his parents George and Sybil Wilton, his in-laws Samuel and Dorothy Simmonds, his brothers Joseph and Allan, his sisters Sadie, Elaine and Hattie. The family will be receiving family and friends at The Church of the Ephiany in Woody Pt., NL, on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday, March 4th, 2016, at 2 pm, with Rev. Kay Short officiating, with the burial to follow at the church cemetery, in Woody Pt., NL.
