The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Monday, February 29, 2016 of Silver Mae Dennis (nee MacDougall) of O'Leary, aged 94 years, wife of the late Wilbert Dennis. Born on October 19, 1921 in Knutsford, daughter of the late James and Janie (Lidstone) MacDougall. Loving mother to Carman (Lucy Anne), Summerside and Dale (Nadine), Knutsford. Beloved grandmother to David (Kim) Dennis; Anne (Rod) Oram; Andrew Dennis; Shelley (Stacey) Chaisson; Melissa Dennis; Crystal (Shaun) Axworthy and Denise Dennis ; grandmother to 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Silver was predeceased by her parents, husband Wilbert (1998), infant son Edwin Keith, sisters Goldie (Cyril) Easter and Elga (Denzel) Currie. Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 5- 8p.m. Funeral will be held on Friday March 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in the spring in the Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
