Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family and close friends at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility, Agnes Catherine Duke (Murphy) age 71 years. Predeceased by her mother and father Tom and Mary Murphy and sisters Patricia Murphy and Marie Green. Leaving to mourn with the heaviest of hearts her loving and most devoted husband of 49 years Bill; also with broken hearts and sadness her two sons Bill Jr. (Karen) and Glenn (Ann Marie). Nanny Agnes also leaves her two precious grandchildren Ashley and Dylan. She also leaves three sisters Madonna Murphy, Marilyn Burridge (Des), and Carolann Miller (Brian); two brothers Tom (Marg), Jim (Venita) and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to numerous to mention. Agnes will be fondly remembered by those who knew her especially two special sisters-in-law Cavell Snow and Daphne Strickland and life-long friends Judy Ryerson and Bernard Norman along with her extended family of 1 South East and 3 South East who we thank so much for all their TENDER LOVING CARE. Resting at Caul's Funeral 84 Lemarchant Road on Thursday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon and 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 5th from St Teresa's Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Agnes' memory to the Alzheimer's Society, St. John's Chapter.
