At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 of Sterling W. Newsome, of Rose Valley, aged 67 years.
Born in Rose Valley on March 14, 1948 son of the late William T. Newsome and Mabel I. (Gamester) Newsome Cameron.
Husband of Brenda (Kennedy) Newsome. Father of Amanda Newsome. Brother of Helen (Roy) MacLennan, Annie (Lloyd) MacLennan, and Madeline (Fred) Wigmore. Son-in-law of June (David) Vessey. Brother-in-law of Kim (Clarence) Taylor, Linda (Greg) Thompson, Joey (Janet) Vessey and David (Sherry) Kennedy. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington for visitation on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Saturday in Central Trinity United Church, Breadalbane at 1 p.m. Interment in the Breadalbane People's Cemetery.
