It is with great sadness the family of Joseph O'Neill announces on Sunday, March 6th, 2016 in his 63rd year he passed peacefully away at home, with family by his side. Joseph leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 40 beautiful years, Yvonne (nee Nolan) who was always by his side; his daughter Jennifer (Andrew) O'Neill-Riggs, and his son Sheldon O'Neill. He was also a loving and cherished Papa to his grandchildren, Lauren and Ethan, who brought so much joy to his life. Also leaving to mourn are his siblings Marie (Gosse), James (Chick) O'Neill, Jean Goodyear, Nellie (Walter) Smith, Patrick (Merle) O'Neill, Janet (Dave) Boland, Sandra (Ed) Quinlan, Sylvia (Gord) Manuel and Terry (Linda) O'Neill, special nephew Dion (Natalie) Goodyear; and siblings in-law Shirley (Lewis), Michael (Judy) Nolan, Loretta (Dave) Best, Maureen (Glenn) Mifflin, Kevin (Robert) Nolan, and Albert Nolan among countless nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. Predeceased by his parents James and Agnes O'Neill of Colinet, his parent's in-law Michael and Elizabeth Nolan, his sisters Mabel Wall, and Pauline Power and siblings in-law Freddie Nolan and Angela Delay. We would like to express a tremendous thank you to all of the medical staff who cared for Joseph and helped the family along his journey. Most notably, Dr. Paula Walsh, Dr. Siddiqui, Dr. Hogan, Dr. Wells, Dr. McIssac, Dr. Doulton, and the entire staff at the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. A special thank you to nurses, Paula Ellsworth and Helen Lane. Arrangements entrusted to Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Tuesday March 8th from 2-4pm, and 7-9pm; and Wednesday, March 9th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
