POST-NEDIMOVICH, Patricia Louise – It is with greatest of sadness to announce the passing of Patricia Louise Post-Nedimovich in the afternoon of March 4th, 2016 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a prolong period of illness. She was 71 years old. Born in Yarmouth in April, 1944, she was raised in East Quinan before moving to Montreal then Western Canada and other parts of the world before returning home. She was a kind and loving soul as well as a strong woman. She loved to dance, cook, create arts and crafts, antiques, music, along with solving puzzles and caring for people. She was, at various times, a dancer, a model, a singer, nursing assistant, sous-chef, waitress, homecare giver, soldier (with Canadian Women’s Army Corps in early 1960’s) and artist as well as a devoted and loving mother. All of these tasks she did very well. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, George and Helen Post; her sister, Margaret and her son, Blair. She is survived by her son, Paul Nedimovich III, her brother, George Post, as well as her foster brothers and sisters and their families. She will be dearly missed by her son, other family members and her many friends across the world. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth where visitation was from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday with a Legion Service at 7:30 p.m. and prayers at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, both in the funeral home in Yarmouth. A funeral service was held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated. An interment will be held at a later date. Flowers are welcomed.
