Passed peacefully away in his sleep at home, at the age of 83, Henry Brown of Whitehaven, England, residing in St. John's since 1971. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Elizabeth; siblings Isabel, William, Jean and Leonard. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife Elsie Brown; daughters Yvonne Brown, Gloria Ryan; sons Stephen Brown (Lynn), and Gary Brown (Jennifer); grandchildren Natasha, Renee (Andrew), Chris (Yana), Brittany, Andrew, Tyler (Yasmine), Bradyn (Chelsey), Kaitlyn (Josh), Sophia, and Jacob; great grandson Ayden; special niece and nephew Dora and Brian; special friends Mike and Anthea Donnan; as well as extended family in England. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, March 13 and Monday, March 14 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Cathedral on Tuesday, March 15 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Society, or the Dialysis Unit at the Waterford Hospital.
