1929 - 2016
Napoleon Cormier, 86, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, NB, passed away on Thursday, March 10th, 2016, at his residence.
Born in Saint-Damien, NB, he was the son of the late Ambroise and the late Marie Rose (née: LeBlanc) Cormier.
Mr. Cormier had been a contractor and the owner of Nap Cormier Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Irma (née: Gaudet); five daughters: Roberta (Aldei) Allain, Lea Cormier (André Doiron) and Denise (Michel) Levasseur, all three of Moncton, Louise (Terry) Surette of Dieppe and Charline Cormier (Bobby Maillet) of Grande Digue; one brother: Alderice of Mckees Mills; seven grandchildren: Jamie, Kevin, Serge, Kelly, Erica, Marc and Randy; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents; he was predeceased by one daughter, Anne; one grandson, Marcel; five sisters: Melendée, Eveline, Elmire, Alvina and Aline and also by five brothers: Clement, Roger, Donald, Leandre and Albéo.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 1:30 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, March 14th, 2016 at 3:30 pm.
Interment Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
