FARRINGTON, SELINA MYRTLE
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Selina Myrtle (Robichaud-St. Pierre) Farrington which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, March 11th, 2016. Born 1934, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Lolie (Gallant) Robichaud.
Selina was a home care worker and also a telephone operator. She enjoyed knitting, bowling, and playing cards.
Selina is survived by her loving husband Robert Farrington of Saint John, sons Donald (Nikki), Thomas (Esther), Norman (Patti) all of Saint John; daughters Marcella Tonge (Bob) and Linda Petrie (Daniel) of Saint John; brother Vern Robichaud (Doreen) of Rothesay; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Selina was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 at 11 a.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Selina may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
