Yolande Doiron

DOIRON, YOLANDE MARY
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Yolande Mary Doiron which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village on Sunday, March 13th, 2016. Born 1924, in Petit Roche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Emily (Boudreau) Vienneau.
Yolande worked at the General Hospital and for Service Master. She loved the rooster at the Casino. Yolande loved playing bingo and she enjoyed socializing, bus tours and card games.
Yolande is survived by her sons Clifford Doiron (Debbie) of Calgary, AB, Edward Daly (Susan) of Saint John; daughters Jacqueline McDevitt (Ronald) of Quispamsis, Joanne Doiron (Eldon Beyea) of Saint John; sisters Georgette Doiron of Moncton, NB, Huberte “Betty” Forest of Saint John; grandchildren Michael, Sharon, Amanda, Yolande, Jonah, Billy Joe, Lisa; great-grandchildren Ryan, Tyler, Jacob, Jade, Keaton, and Kaison; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Yolande was predeceased by her husband Auguste Doiron, infant son Donald, brother Lionel Vienneau, and sister Fernande Hovey.
A special thank you to the staff at the Loch Lomond Village, Willow House, for their excellent care.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, March 15th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 16th at 12 noon, with family meeting at the church, followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Donations in Yolande’s memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
