Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Sunday, March 13, 2016, with his family at his side, the passing of Leandre (Leon/Frenchie) Breau, loving husband of 48 years to Gloria (Llewellyn) Breau.
Born in College Bridge, NB, on November 29, 1938 he was the son of the late John and Rose (Cormier) Breau.
Leandre is survived by his children, Brian and Janet; brothers, Jean Paul, Louie (Liz), Bernard (Aline); sister, Phyllis; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Veda), Bobby (Wilma); sisters-in-law, Irma, Sylvia and Susan (Glen); grandchildren, LauraLee, Amber, Josh, Isabella, Jordan; great-grandchild, Maddox; along with a large circle of extended family and friends. Predeceased by a grandson, Brandon; sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Mary Lou; brothers-in-law, Ronald, John, Kenneth and Kenny; nephews, Jamie, Beau; and niece, Jackie.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour North Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society of PEI, Kings County Memorial Hospital or the Murray Harbour North Cemetery would be appreciated.
