Fred met his late wife, Margaret, during a trip home on vacation while living in Ontario. They were married in 1958, living in Stellarton, New Glasgow, Scotsburn and finally returning to New Glasgow.
Fred was most proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
