It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Stairs of Fredericton, NB on March 9, 2016, at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 81. Born in Fredericton, a daughter of the late Frederick and Janet (Foster) Leslie and wife of the late James Trainor.
Geraldine was a member of Brunswick Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving children David Trainor (Sharon), Terry Trainor (Louise-Ann), Laura Steeves (David), Sara Townsend (Grant); grandchildren Bethany, Andrew, Peter, Aaron, Jonathan, Allison, Bailey and Brady; great granddaughter Cali; her 2nd husband Amber Stairs. Predeceased by a grandson Nathan Trainor.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Monday March 14, 2016 from 6 to 9 PM. A private family graveside service will be held, with interment in the Rural Cemetery Extension in the spring.
Memorials in Geraldine’s memory, may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke or a charity of the donor’s choice.
