Carl Wright

Carl Vincent Wright, age 64, of Westville, passed away on Saturday March 12, 2016 in Cumberland Regional Hospital, Amherst with his family at his side.
Born in New Glasgow, on January 11, 1952, Carl was a son of the late George and Mildred (MacLeod) Wright.
Carl was a coal miner, having worked in the Drummond Mine, Westville and Westray Mine, Plymouth. He was also a welder by trade. Carl loved life, he lived it to the fullest. He was known to sing a song or two in his past and he was known for his passion to hunt and fish. The twinkle in his eye and his devilish little grin will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
The last several years of Carl’s life he spent driving around the back roads hunting and going fishing with his close friend Tom Chappel. He got such enjoyment singing while his good buddy and friend John Davis played his favorite songs on the guitar for him. He always looked forward to having that game of poker, a cold beer and sitting at the kitchen table with his very special friend Bart (Gordon) Simpson.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Kim Reyno; sons Robert (Steven) Reyno, Westville, Kent Austin (BobbieJo), Beaverbank; his beautiful granddaughters, the five apples of his eye : Alexia , Kennedy, Mackenzie, Callie and Naomi; brothers: Hughie (Anna), Caribou; Edward (Pat), Calvin (Audrey), all of Westville; brother-in-law Jerry Slaunwhite ( Cheryl ) Pictou sister-in-law Beverley Mooney, Amherst; his nieces and nephews and many other close family relatives who he loved dearly.
Carl was predeceased by sisters, Betty Slaunwhite; Audrey MacDonald and Doreen; brother Alex and infant brothers, Irwin, and George.
There will be no visitations. His memorial will be held 1 o’clock Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. There will be the spreading of ashes and a celebration of Carl’s life at our home, 5129 route 366 Lorneville on June 18th at approximately 3:00pm.
