Elaine McIsaac, 58, of Westville, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, with her loving family at her side.

Born in Montreal, she is a daughter of Marina (Reid) Matheson and the late Douglas Matheson.

Elaine enjoyed karaoke, darts and being with her friends around the campfire. Most of all she cherished her children and her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Murdock Cyr; mother Marina; daughters Melanie Jenson (Dallas), Alberta; Kathy McIsaac, Westville; Amanda Seymour (Chris), Halifax; grandchildren Hailey, Raiden, Ada and Elias; sisters, Donna MacLean (Scott Grant), Abercrombie; Susan Rundle (Peter Mabey), Westville; Lori Matheson, Lower Sackville; brothers, Darin and Carl Matheson, New Glasgow; mother-in-law Marion Cyr and father-in-law Sonny Cyr (Nellie). She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law “Cyr family” , Brian (Kathy); Kenny (Shelly); Allan (Sharon); Steven (Mariann); Heather (Kevin), Debbie (Brian); Marion (Bob); and Pam (Tommy).

Elaine is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Friday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Lorne Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the I.W.K. or the Canadian Cancer Society. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
