Mr. Bert Joyce would like to announce the passing of his wife on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, three weeks prior to her 91st Birthday. She faithfully served the Lord with her husband, in the Gospel for the past 64 years in Newfoundland and Labrador. She has been predeceased by her parents: Elizabeth Alexandra and John Richard Gould; brother Edward; parents in law: Jack and Grace Evelyn Joyce; sisters in law Edith Caron and Ruthie Joyce; brother in law: Martin Brown. Left to mourn her passing: her loving husband: John Albert (Bert); children: John, June (Gerald) Burton, Evelyn (Dave) Macpherson, Stephen (Sheila), Heather Moore and Bryan (Rachel); sisters in law: Ruth Gould & Peggy Brown. She also had twenty grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 18, 2016 @ 2:00 p.m., from Sunrise Ministries Church, 29 Wellington Street, Corner Brook. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers will be graciously accepted and donations may be made to The Gospel Trust Canada (www.gospeltrust.ca).
