Passed peacefully away at Tobin's Guest Home, Holyrood on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 of Long Pond, age 71 yrs. Leaving to mourn his wife Marie (nee Brown), sons Rendell (Cindy), Mark (Stephanie), John (Debbie), daughter Christine (Michael), 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Lester, half brother David Porter, sisters-in-law Glenys, Linda and Nellie. Also nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm, Friday from 10 - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
