Leonard "Chou" Arsenault

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, March 17, 2016, of Leonard “Chou” Arsenault, of Summerside, aged 90 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Theodore and Bella (Arsenault) Arsenault. Survived by his children Gail (Alan) MacKenzie, Truro, NS; Gregory (Janice), Summerside; Alan (Donna), Summerside; Marie Bourinot, Eastern Passage, NS; Anne (Ken) Clements, Whitby, ON; Kenny, Ottawa, ON; and John (Jodi), Edberg, AB. Lovingly remembered and forever missed by grandchildren Jean Paul, Jeannine, Denise, Janelle, Amy, Molly, Jeffrey, Tanner, Ashton, Tia, Jay and Nicole; great-grandchildren Taylor, Amiela, Robert, Lila, Cash, Austin, Lincoln and Fletcher; brother and sisters Beth McWatters, Marie (Elmer) Perry, Theresa (Keith) Veno and Donnie (Phyllis) Arsenault. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Cameron) Arsenault; daughter Susan Arsenault, son Darryl Arsenault, son-in-law Lloyd Bourinot; brothers Walter (Margaret), Henry, Gussie (Beatrice), Dorothy (Doug) Thompson, Edna (Charlie) Buhler, George (Connie), Melvin and Ernest. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 - 5 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or Charity of Choice would be appreciated. Members of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Service of Remembrance, at the Funeral Home, Sunday at 1:45 p.m. www.moase.ca.
