On March 18, 2016 Margaret Campbell, 82, formally of Park Street, Sydney, passed away surrounded by family at Seaview Manor.
Margie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Duncan, children Colin (Deborah), Ian (Brenda), Duncan Jr., grandchildren Kyle, Caelin, Brett, Casi, Alys, Adam, Sarah, Bhreagh, great-grandchild Jaxon, siblings Bob (Lorraine), Carol (Dave), Alan (Judy), and many nieces and nephews.
Marg was predeceased by her parents Wilfred Roy and Frances Mae (nee Soper), sisters Ruth (George), Joan (John), Eva (David), brothers Foster (Elsie), Fraser (Barbara) and grandchild Scott.
Marg grew up in Whitney Pier and was an active member of Trinity United Church, Choir and Bethany/UCW earning her the nickname Roadrunner by family. She was extremely proud of her family and Peddle heritage, enjoyed her weekly Bridge Club and beating her husband at tarabish (the only time her sweetness didn't shine through). She retired as manager of Reitmans after 25 years service.
A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 11a.m. in Sydney Memorial Chapel, 49 Welton St., Sydney followed by internment at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
