It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Lainey announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Sunday March 20, 2016 at the age of 61 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 2 sons: Maurice (Gina) Laney, Kevin Laney of Brampton, daughter, Lorinda Laney of Barachois Brook, granddaughter Caitlin Neahr, 4 brothers: Andrew Downey of Barachois Brook, David Downey, Clyde (Tina) Downey of Toronto, Scott (Cathy) Downey of St. John's, 4 sisters: Annie Harris of Glovertown, Mary Pimpao of Calgary, Margaret (Joseph) Lewis of Corner Brook, Theresa Power of Toronto, she was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit at Russells Funeral Home, Station Road in Stephenville Crossing on Thursday March 24, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
