Hanna, Hanna Michael
The death of Hanna Hanna of Fredericton, NB occurred on March 23rd, 2016 at York Care Centre. Born February 21st, 1925 in Niha, Lebanon, he was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Lattouf) Hanna and husband to the late Maria (Dib-Sawma) Hanna.
Hanna was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
Hanna is survived by his children, Saidy Abi-Rached of Lebanon, Michael Hanna of Fredericton, Chris Hanna (Regina) of Fredericton, George Hanna of Fredericton, Marguerite Stafford of Fredericton, Yola McCarty (Joe) of Sherwood Park, AB, Rufca Hanna of Fredericton, Tony Hanna (Brigitte) of Fredericton, Teres Hanna of Fredericton and Joe Hanna (Christa) of Fredericton; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Marguerite of Lebanon and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his spouse, Maria; two brothers, three sisters, an infant daughter and an infant son.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26th, 2016, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, March 28th, 2016, at 11:00 am with Fr. Mark Trzop and Fr. Chadi Kattan as celebrants. Interment will be held at a later date in the adjoining cemetery.
