Melanson, Jacqueline “Jackie” Anne
Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Melanson, 54, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edward “Jack” and Barbara (Cook) Gould.
Jackie was employed with Cardinal Health for 33 years. She was a devoted wife and mother. Jackie was a kind spirited woman who loved life. Her family and friends were very important to her and she had kindness that was felt by everyone who knew her and she continually thought of others. She always had time to help anyone who needed it but first and foremost was the love she had for her family, especially her husband and children. Jackie enjoyed travelling, camping, organizing family functions and attending her children’s activities.
Jackie will be sadly missed by her husband and soulmate of 21 years, Randy Melanson of Moncton; her cherished daughter and son, Courtney and Kyle; sisters, Fonda Kazi (Kamil), Janet Bishop, Linda Gould (Don O’Connor), Karen Evans (Bob) and Kathy Price (Les); brothers, Robert (Marie-Paule Magee), Michael (Paula), John (Stacy) and Richard (Louisa); several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, (858-1995) Moncton on Monday March 28, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church (43 Botsford St.) on Tuesday, March 29 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in the church hall following the mass. Interment to be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, later in the spring.
