Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, March 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, Gerald Patrick Kavanagh, age 61 years. Predeceased by his parents Stella and James Kavanagh; special uncle and aunt Fred Kavanagh and Rita Cahill. Survived by his daughter Julie, his son Michael (Juliann) and their mother Rosemary, very special brother Mike, who took great care of Gerry in his last days, two sisters Maureen, Patricia (Brendan), nephew Dylan and niece Victoria, four brothers Paul (Gen), Jim (Anne Marie), nephew Stephen, Mike, Bob (Mae) and special friend Beth Healey, uncles Harold Cahill and Art Kavanagh (Collette) and special aunt Sheila Mackey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has already taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Monday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, acts of kindness or donations may be made to the Gathering Place.
