Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Selina Theresa (Best) Rose age 85 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Angus; parents Laura and Thomas Best of Merasheen Island; infant son Leo; siblings Gerard Best, Ron Best; Margaret Griffin and Laura Fillion. Leaving to mourn her daughter Geralynn "Missey" (Douglas Tulk); five sons Thomas (Sharon), Denis (Marylou), Gerard (Pamela), Angus (Michelle) and John (Wanda); nine grandchildren Michael, Angela, Jesse, Patrick, Allison, Gillian, Mark, Meghan and Sydney; sister Helen (Bob) Colgan; brother-in-law Arthur Griffin; special cousins the Mahoney's who considered her a sister, as well a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation and funeral times to be announced. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
