Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on March 28, 2016, Florence Squires, Old Perlican and formally Britannia, Random Island, age 95 years at Chancellor Park Nursing Home. Predeceased by husband, William J. (2005), parents William J. and Louisa Coish, sisters Beatrice (Basil), Frances (Albert), May (Luther), Cecelia (Hayward), brothers Cyril (Pearl) and Stanley (Bessie). Brothers in Law Melvin (Celia), Chesley (Annie), Corbett (Irene), sister-in-laws Bernice, Beatrice and Edith. Leaving to mourn with precious memories, son Calvin (Ethel), grandchildren Trent (Erin), Melissa (Jon) and Duane (Sara), step grandchildren Amy (Kate), Jennifer (Levi), great grandchildren whom she loved adoringly Grayson and Layla, Katherine and Samantha, Beckett and step great grandchild, Maecyn. Brother-in-law Herbert Hudson as well as a large circle of treasured nieces, nephews and friends. Ever remembered for the unconditional love she shared with her family and friends. Florence was a lifelong member of the U.C.W. and L.O.B.A. Old Perlican. Special thanks to staff members at Hillcrest Estates and Chancellor Park for their loving care over the past six years. Resting at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican with visitation on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews By the Sea, United Church, Old Perlican. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetry, Old Perlican. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to St. Andrews By the Sea United Church, Old Perlican.
