WHITE, Malcolm Eugene- age 90, of Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away on March 27, 2016 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Kemptville on July 6, 1925 he was the son of the late Clayton and Grace (Hurlburt) White. Malcolm was enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. After the war he was employed at General Motors and Duplate in Oshawa, Ontario. Malcolm was also a carpenter and a woodsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, horseshoes, playing cards, going to the camp and singing in his leisure time. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Olive (Brittain) White; children, Ernie (June) White, Ontario; Sandra (Denton) Ford, Port Maitland; Malcolm (Harriet) White, Port Maitland; Marsha (Tom) Bickford, South Ohio; brothers, Garnet (Ruth) White, Yarmouth; Clifford (Corrine) White, Carleton; sister, Barbara Mood of Yarmouth; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Arnold in the war and Ernest White; sister, Kathleen and grandson Thomas White. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses of the 4th floor, Dr. Gillis and Dr. Tagboto and the great staff in the dialysis unit for their care, patience and understanding. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral service was held at Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, March 31, 2016 at 10 a.m., Rev. Donald Moses officiated. Interment followed in Hillside Cemetery in North Ohio. Donations in memory may be made to Yarmouth Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit.
