ROY, RICKY WILLIAM
It is with tremendous sadness the family of Ricky William Roy announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital; with his loving family at his side. Ricky was born April 7 of 1962 in Saint John, the son of the late Lawrence Roy and Florence (Ferris-Roy) Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary-Ann; daughter Jessica and son Morgan all of Saint John; brother Larry (Nancy); brother-in-law Gary; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Besides his parents, Ricky was predeceased by his sisters Wanda Byers and Linda Craig and his faithful feline friend Gilbert.
Ricky will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and friends. He always put everyone else ahead of himself. He had a huge, kind heart, just like his Mom. Rick loved the country, the camp, fishing, hunting and especially time with his family. There isn’t anyone who Rick knew who he hadn’t had a chance to help them in some way.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
