Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent on March 29, 2016, Sister Mary Kelly age 72 years. She is predeceased by her parents James and Sarah (Flynn) Kelly; her step-mother Mary; three brothers Fintan, Kenneth and Thomas; and one sister-in-law Cathy. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation the Sisters of Mercy; two sisters Doris (Noel) and Brenda (Steve); six brothers Dennis (Amelia), Kevin (Grace), Jim (Carm), Phonse, Ron (Lisa) and Wade; sister-in-law Theresa; her special family in Holyrood the Lewis family, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s, Wednesday, March 30 at 7–9 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road. Interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
