Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, surrounded by her family, Hazel Catherine Moore (nee White), at the age of 97 years, devoted wife of the late Clarence Moore, occurred on Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
Born on March 3, 1919 in Wood Islands, Hazel was the daughter of the late Howard and Annie (nee Grant) White.
Survived by sister, Nan Ross, brother, Lester White, and sisters-in-law, Laurie Moore, Linda White and Cecile White. Hazel will also be missed by a large circle of extended family and all who had the privilege of calling her friend.
Predeceased by infant twin girls at birth; daughter, Shirley Anne; son, Ronnie; and siblings, Amelia in infancy, Annie Buell, Lillian MacLeod, Stanley, Oren, Robert, Buddy (Howard) White.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 11 a.m. to time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Chuck McGuire officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations graciously accepted by the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation PEI.
