RICHARD, VITALINE
(1913-2016)
RICHIBUCTO – Vitaline Richard, 102, of Manoir Notre-Dame in Moncton and formerly of Richibucto, passed away at the Dr.-George-L.-Dumont University Hospital on March 29th, 2016. Born in St.-Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Dosithé and Suzanne (Gallant) Richard.
Vitaline is survived by two daughters, Soeur Germaine (fma) of Campbellton and Roselande Hudson (late John) of Moncton; by six sons, Vincent (Germaine) of Sussex, Léopold (Anne-Marie) of Richibucto, Delphin (Léona) and Claude (Linda) of Moncton, Dolphe (Claudette) and Jean Guy (Norma) of Dieppe. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Last surviving member of her immediate family, Vitaline is predeceased by her husband Nazaire (1988), her granddaughter, Janice Hudson; her brother, Jean-Baptiste; her two sisters, Pauline (Appoline) Daigle and Madeleine Léger.
At the request of the family, there will be no viewing at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague Roman Catholic Church Richibucto, Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow the Mass in the church basement for those wishing to meet with the family members.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Manoir Notre-Dame for their dedicated care and services during Vitaline’s stay with them. The family also wishes to thank the staff of Dr.-George-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center for their special care.
