Walter Janes

With heavy hearts, the family of Walter Janes announces his passing, which occurred on March 30th, 2016, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Tony was born in Saint John on October 7, 1955; a son of the late Gordon and Evelyn (Burke) Janes, and the loving husband of Valerie (Button) Janes.
Walter spent his formative years in Amesbury, Massachusetts, was a pipefitter at Saint John Shipbuilding for many years, and a very proud member of Local 213, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union.
