Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on March 29, 2016 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by his daughter Rosalind, his mother Flora, his father Leonard and his brothers Donald, Harold and Kevin. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life, his loving and devoted wife, Penny. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Shirley, Nadine (Cal), Margaret, Patricia (Adolphus), Cynthia (Mike) and brother Derrick. He will be dearly missed by his children Linda (Larry), Calvin (Joy), Larry and step-children Dawn (Steve), Ken and Sheri. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Julie, Jeremy, Travis, Lisa, Candace, Ashley, Anthony, Rosalind and Christopher and step-grandchildren Kjirsten, Jared, and 16 great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his cabin buddies, neighbours and close friends. To the nurses of 4West, we thank you for your kindness and respect ... it was a comfort to him and his family. Aiden was a hard worker and a man of many talents. He worked with the Department of Forestry for 30 years and loved every minute he spent in the woods. He loved working with his stained glass, carving wood and painting pictures. If he saw something he liked, he made it. Although he seemed a serious man, he had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to joke and tell yarns. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
