LÉGER, JEANNINE
1954-2016
Jeannine Léger, 61, of Cocagne passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, on Thursday March 31, 2016. She was married to the late Yvon Léger (1983). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Marie Sylvie Bastarache.
Jeannine was employed with Service NB as a financial agent. She devoted many hours to the church and taught the catechism program to the children in her community.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sylvie Léger (Jeremy) of Dieppe, her sisters; Bernice Cormier (Léonard) of Cocagne, Ella Bastarache of Bouctouche, her brother, Désiré (Pauline) of Bouctouche and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, ti-Claude.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église Bouctouche, on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Ccatholic Church on Monday April 4, 2016 at 7:00pm.
In Jeannine`s memory a donation can be made to the family.
