Peacefully at The Mount Continuing Care Community on Thursday, March 31, 2016, of Sister Geralda Arsenault (Sister Mary Gerarda) CSM, age 82 years. Born in Abram’s Village, she was the daughter of the late Florin and Marie Anne Arsenault. She is survived by sisters Adeline Shepherd, Theresa Costello, Anne Marie Gauthier and brothers Gerard and Stanley. She was predeceased by siblings Sister Marie Arsenault, RPB, Aime, Guillaume (Willie), Victorin, Joachim, Roland, Melvin and Alphonsine MacIntyre. Sister Geralda is also fondly remembered by her Martha Sisters and her nieces and nephews. Transferred from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home to The Mount Continuing Care Community Chapel for visiting hours on Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday with funeral mass from the Mount Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Congregation of St. Martha Cemetery.
