CAISSIE, IMELDA (MAILLET)
It is with sadness that the family of Imelda Caissie announces her death at Shannex - Thomas Hall on April 4th, 2016. Born November 4th, 1927 in St. Norbert, NB, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Marie-Luce (Thibodeau) Maillet and wife of the late Alcide Caissie.
Imelda is survived by her sons, Aldorie Caissie (Norma Belliveau) of Burton, NB, Donald Caissie (Linda) of Geary, NB; daughters, Claudia Grasse (Sheldon) of Geary, NB and Rose-May Cashol (Raymond) of Geary, NB; grandchildren, Michael Caissie, Joanne Caissie, Angie Shaw (Brent), Jim Caissie, Jason Grasse (Sarah Standring), Jeremy Grasse(Nichola), Erica Cashol(Andre Picard); great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Megan, Jessie, Nakita, Nathaniel, Kyle, Hanna, Georgia, Kaden and Karter; sisters, Rosa Boucher and Anita Robichaud; brothers, Aris Maillet (Maria) and Leo Maillet (Florence) as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Alcide; her children, Henri-Paul and Rose-Mai Caissie; daughter-in-law, Carol and her siblings, Huberte Maillet, Camille Maillet and Colombe Gaudet
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Friday, April 8th, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Fr. Antonio Reyes as celebrant. A reception will follow. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Imelda may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Hospice Fredericton or charity of the donor's choice.
