Clifford Basil Marshall, 60, passed away peacefully at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish on the Divine Mercy Sunday April 3, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Thomas Alexander and Pauline Marie (Battiste) Marshall. Clifford was very active in the community and was a former addictions counselor. He was also the proprietor of Tranquility Tours in Chapel Island.
He is survived by his son, Chance (Ashley), Tobique First Nation; daughter, Charlene Coulinceur-Mazerolle, Tobique First Nation; grandchildren, Chandler, Abraham; brothers, Alexander (Margie), Maynard (Jeannette), Lindsay (Florence), all of Potlotek; sisters, Nora (Peter), Bernard, Eskasoni, Rosemary Marshall, Bernadette Marshall, Sharon (Lester), Johnson, all of Potlotek; godparents, Murray Marshall and Theresa Stephens, both of Potlotek; his special friend, Edward Young, Potlotek.
Clifford was predeceased by his brothers James, Gary 'Koli', Stephen 'Stevo', Russell; sisters, Norbertta, Elizabeth; maternal grandparents, Stephen & Mary (Basque) Battiste; paternal grandparents, Alexander & Rose (Googoo) Marshall.
Visitation will take place in St. Kateri Tekawitha Chapel in Potlotek on Thursday from 4 p.m. till time of Mass of Christian Farewell that will be held on Saturday morning at 11a.m. in the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Peter’s with Rev. Antolin Asur. A salité will take place following the Mass of Christian Farewell in the Potlotek Community Hall.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
