It is with heavy hearts that the families of James Henry Hewlin announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, April 5th, 2016, at the age of 76th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Paulette (nee Hulan) of 52 years marriage, his children Michelle (Brent) Wentzell, of Cow Head, Dwayne (Colleen) Hewlin, of Brampton, Ontario and Quentin (Wanda) Hewlin, of Labrador City, his grandchildren Christopher Wentzell, Samantha Wentzell, Chantel Hewlin, Amanda Hewlin, Audrianna Hewlin and Nicholas Hewlin, his sister Annie (Carl) Pittman of St. Paul's, brother-in-law Claude White of Cow Head, NL, and his special brother Frank (Sandra) Hewlin of British Columbia. James was predeceased by his parents Jessie and Annie Gertrude Hewlin, his sisters Beulah White, Ida (Reginald) Payne, Irene (Ralph) Hutchings and Cecilia Hewlin. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Thursday, April 7th, 2016, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Friday, April 8th, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, April 9th, 2016, at 2 pm, with Canon Rev. Tery Rose officiating, and following James Wishes cremation to follow and an Inurnment to follow at a later date. The family would like to thank the Doctor's, Nurses, and staff of the Palliative Care of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, for their personal care and compassion of our Dad.
