The death occurred on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, with family by his side, of Victor Doiron, beloved husband of Ella (nee MacDonald), of Millvale, aged 72.
Victor was the loving father of Michelle Murphy (Paul), Kim MacPhail (Paul) and Jackie McNabb (Steve); and grandfather of Morgan Murphy; Katie Doiron (Ben); and Sophie and Jase McNabb. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Lawrence (Marie), Melvin (Anita), Louise Clarkin (John), Dennis (Kathy) and Vivian Gauthier (Sonny); brothers-in-law, Paul MacDonald (Mary Lou), Alan MacDonald (Val), Lonnie MacDonald (Nancy); and sisters-in-law, Vickie Kirkby (Brian), Rita Hennessy and Eileen Bain (Rick); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Victor was predeceased by his parents, John T. and Rose (Peters) Doiron; sister, Marie; brother, Ivan; parents-in-law, Reggie and Agnes MacDonald; brother-in-law, Joseph MacDonald; and sisters-in-law, Mary Lund and Theresa Heaphy.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Hope River, on Wednesday, April 13, at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery.
