With heavy hearts and a lifetime of cherished memories, we say goodbye to Sandra Rose Anne George (nee Vincent), loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandy passed suddenly on Monday, the 11th of April 2016, at the age of 59. Sandy insisted on seeing the best side of everything and everyone. She always viewed this often-cruel world through her rose-coloured glasses and was legend for defying the medical odds. She fought valiantly, courageously and successfully through situations to which many would have yielded much sooner. All of us who were lucky enough to have known her are thankful for the victories that prolonged her time with us. Her life is celebrated with love, affection, laughter and a glass of red wine by husband Wayne, daughter Niki (Dwayne), son Ian (Teagan) and precious grandchildren Emma, Avery, Avalon and Zander. Survived by mother Jean Vincent (nee Heath), sisters Pam and Gail (Levi), brother Tony (Linda), and Predeceased by father Chesley. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from 2-7 pm on Friday, April 15, at Warren's Funeral Home in Dildo, along with a Service of Celebration from 7-8 pm. A gathering at Wayne and Sandy's home to follow.
