SHAW, CHRISTY GAYLE
Christy G. Shaw of Harvey Station, NB passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 12, 2016. She was born at Fredericton, NB in 1973, a daughter of the late Dale and Rosalie (Burpee) Shaw.
Christy was employed with the Province of New Brunswick in the Environment and Local Government department and will be sorely missed by her co-workers. Our hearts are heavy with the tragic loss of a loved one so precious to us all.
She is survived by her loving partner, Richard Thomas; a sister, Diane MacLaren (Joseph); a brother, Jeffrey Shaw (Katherine); she was the beloved aunt of Benjamin, Sarah, William, Jack, Kaden, Shane and Isabella. She is also survived by Richard’s parents, Arthur and Helene Thomas, a sister-in-law, Stephanie Munn (Darren), a brother-in-law, Brian Thomas (Erica), several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christy was predeceased by her mother on May 5, 2003 and her father on December 16, 2015.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey, NB on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ann Boudreau officiating. A reception will follow in the Youth Hall. Interment will be later at Cherry Mountain Cemetery.
