Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, Lewis David Sheppard of Carbonear, age 84 years. Predeceased by daughter: Deborah; granddaughter: Megan; parents: Harold and Catherine; sisters: Olive, Winnie, Annie and Isabel; brother: William. Leaving to mourn, wife: Helen (nee Ash); two daughters: Beverley (David Hollett), Adams Cove and Wendy (Bruce) Sparkes, Harbour Grace; three sons: David (Helena), Harbour Grace, Richard (Glenda), Coley's Point and Tolson (Andréa), Bristol's Hope; son-in-law: Jeff Coombs, Upper Island Cove; 10 grandchildren: David (Angie), Kayla, Ashlee (Trevor), Aaron (Kayla), Athena, Crystal (Billy), Tracey, Adam (Nancy), Madison and Chloe; four precious great-grandchildren: Bailey, Jenna, Hannah and Katie; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
