Ruth Elaine Brown (nee Campbell) passed away peacefully, in Assiniboia, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Ruth was born in Moose Jaw, on October 28, 1947, to Roy and Agnes Campbell. Her early years were spent in Cardross, before moving back to Moose Jaw in 1965. She worked at Canadays, Providence Hospital and Providence Place until her retirement in 2004. Ruth's family and friends were important to her! She enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, singing and playing the accordion/organ. Music was a big part of her life. Ruth had a huge heart and loved looking after people. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend! Ruth was predeceased by her partner, Claude Gosselin; parents, Roy and Agnes (Low) Campbell; brother, Colin; brother-in-law, Maurice Carnie; sister-in-law, Frances Gaudry; great niece, Jessica Campbell; and beloved pets, Tasha and Grey Boy. She is survived by her sister, Mary Carnie; brothers, Albert (Sandi) and Charlie (Elaine); sister-in-law, Carol Campbell; nieces and nephews David, Deanna, Kevin (Bev), Darrell, Diane, Brent, Dianna (Brian), Rick and Todd (Joanna) as well as many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ruth was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed. At Ruth’s request a Private Family Graveside Service will be held.
