Marshall, Ronald Campbell - age 70, Earltown, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2016 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Onslow Mountain, he was the son of the late Duncan and Iola (Staples) Marshall. Ronald spent much of his life working in the woods in various capacities. He was a practical joker, loved western movies, fishing, hunting and anything to do with the forest and being outdoors. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. His life was spent living in Earltown. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharlene (Hudson); daughter, Rhonda (Nick) Mason, Upper Stewiacke; sister, Marlene (Bob) Stewart, Calgary; brother, Bobby (Shirley), Nuttby; brother-in-law, Clarence Crowe, Earltown; grandchildren, Mikaela, Nicole and Owen; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Leona Crowe. Cremation has taken place. By request of Ronald and family, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of his life will be held at the graveside in Earltown Village Cemetery, Highway 311, Earltown on Saturday, April 23, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Earltown Cemetery or the I.W.K. Foundation.
