Grace Tryntje (nee Woodside) Arsenault

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Tryntje Arsenault (Woodside), aged 44 years, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on April 18, 2016. Born in O’Leary on June 16, 1971, she was the daughter of Lia Murray and the late Bertram Woodside. Survived by her loving husband Paul and children Brian (Courtney Laing), Samantha (Brayden Sage) and Randy. Also cherished and forever in the hearts of her brothers and sisters: Janet (Al) Woodside, of Brovillette, Truro, N.S.; Beecher (Virginia) Woodside, of Poplar Grove; Heather (John) Lockhart, of Kensington; Suzanne (Leonce) Woodside of Kensington; Robert (Petya) Murray, of Alberta; Mark (Monica) Murray of Alberta; Ray Murray of Alberta; Cherry (Silbert) Campbell of Spring Hill; Karen (Bobby) Arsenault of Summerside; Dorene (Ed) Murray of P.E.I.; Nancy (Derek) Simpson of P.E.I.; and Donna. Survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lorraine (Mike) Regier, Saint John, N.B.; Lucia (Kenny) Bridges, Summerside; Doris (Raymond) Arsenault, Wellington; Francis (Hilda) Arsenault, Shediac, NB; and Raymond J. Arsenault, Abram’s Village. Grace is survived by aunts and uncles: Ursula Cornish of O’Leary, Faye Hutchinson of O’Leary, Gertje Leslie (Clarence) of Nova Scotia and Jacob Leegwater of Nova Scotia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Grace was predeceased by her father, daughter Angie Lia Arsenault, grandparents Leon and Vivian Woodside and Dirk and Trentje Leegwater, mother-in-law Della Arsenault, father-in-law Gerard Arsenault, brother Ervine (Roma) Murray, sister and brothers-in-law Donald Arsenault, Noëlla Arsenault and Melvin Arsenault. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Friday, April 22, then to the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church, Mont-Carmel, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Grace’s memory to the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, would be greatly appreciated.
