Passed peacefully away at her home in Harbour Main surrounded by the love of family & friends, Theresa Hannon at the fine old age of 91. Theresa was loved & cherished in the Harbour Main community where she lived her entire life. Countless relatives, friends & neighbours frequently visited her. She always made time for a cup of tea, a chat & a good joke. Theresa was the last surviving child of Walter & Elizabeth Gorman & is predeceased by her sisters & brothers: Pad, Jack, Jim, Watt, Mary (Dish) & Cecilia, her husband Michael (1974). Left with fond and loving memories are her loving & devoted children: Mary Myers (Tony), Uriel MacGillivary (Don), Patsy Nolan (Dave) & Michael (Nancy), her grandchildren: Kelly, Holly, Taylor, Sarah, David, (Stacey, Michael) & their mother Jean & great grandchild Rowan, nieces & nephews: Mark, Sean, Nick & Debbie Woodford, Elizabeth Kennedy, Mary Murray, Doreen Moore, Paddy Gorman, Michael McLaughlin, Joan Romognoli & their families; care givers: Jean Hannon & Maureen Hickey, life long friends: Nell Ezekiel, Evelyn Cleary, Johnny Merner, Josephine Holt & Mary & Alban Murphy; and a large circle of wonderful friends near & far. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Wednesday & Thursday from 4 pm - 9 pm. Funeral will take place at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 22, 2016 with Mass of Christian Burial from SS. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main. Cremation to follow with Inurnment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Harbour Main.
